Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle, the RC Process Improvement Quality Trainer will be responsible for training, retraining, process improvement and quality checks. These processes can include registration, payer plan training, scanning, charge entry, financial clearance, Epic work queues, payment posting, refunds and other revenue cycle assistance to the various areas within SHS.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
5+ years of health care experience, revenue cycle preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Preferred in EPIC and MEDITECH software systems Medical terminology, rules and regulations relating to revenue cycle
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Preferred in EPIC and MEDITECH software systems Medical terminology, rules and regulations relating to revenue cycle
Effective communication and Customer Service skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and train staff on process and procedures
Knowledge of insurance billing, practices, and compliance with a high level of problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of staff
