Maintenance Technician at SSH Real Estate – Greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

SSH Facilities is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Successfully complete work order driven repairs within stated time frames
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and life safety checks on commercial buildings
• Estimate repairs for quotes and oversee work performed by outside contractors
• Work as a team on large-scale projects
• Must be available to respond to emergencies during regular on-call rotation
• Clearly and accurately notate and document
• Communicate clearly and regularly with dispatch and office staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in all aspects of commercial building maintenance
• Possess a set of basic hand tools
• Should be hard working, dependable, and possess a positive attitude with strong customer service skills
• Clean driving record, criminal record and the ability to pass a drug screen
• Computer, phone, and written skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead, climb ladders, and work at heights (e.g., rooftops).
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the day.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
