PURPOSE
As a Guest Room Attendant at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, you play a vital role in ensuring that our guest rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to meet the high standards expected at our facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Room Preparation: Clean and reset guest rooms according to specified standards and procedures. This includes changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Supply Replenishment: Restock all room amenities, including toiletries, towels, and mini-bar items, ensuring that guests have everything they need.
- Quality Checks: Perform detailed inspections of rooms prior to guest arrival to ensure everything is in perfect order.
- Guest Interaction: Address any guest requests or issues related to room cleanliness promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe environment for both guests and team members. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel staff, such as laundry personnel and other room attendants, to ensure timely turnover of rooms.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
- Experience in housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning roles.
Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure no aspect of room preparation is overlooked.
- Efficiency and Speed: Ability to work quickly without compromising quality, especially during high occupancy periods.
- Physical Stamina and Mobility: Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Positive Attitude: Friendly and positive demeanor, able to interact politely with guests and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Reliability: High level of dependability and reliability in following through with assigned tasks and schedules.
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
