F5 Facility Services is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled, motivated Building Engineer to join our team in the Pittsburgh, PA area! If you take pride in keeping buildings running at peak performance and enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems
Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal system performance
Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including lighting, power distribution (up to 480V), water systems, and minor structural components
Respond promptly and professionally to tenant service requests
Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors to ensure quality and safety compliance
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory records
Monitor and adjust Building Management Systems (BMS) for energy efficiency
Follow all safety protocol,s including Lockout/Tagout and proper hazardous material handling
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response
What We’re Looking For
Universal EPA Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational training preferred)
3+ years of commercial building maintenance experience (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Professional communication skills
Ability to lift to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
