About This Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll & Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll experience and an accounting background (or recent graduate) who is looking to grow into a full accounting role within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Position Overview
This role will primarily be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, while also supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations. The right candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to develop into a broader accounting position.
Benefits:
- Full-time: In the office, Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- Pay: $55,000-$60,000/year (DOE).

Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for field and office staff
- Ensure payroll accuracy, including hours, commissions, bonuses, and deductions
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Support month-end close processes
- Help reconcile payroll and general ledger accounts
- Work closely with management and HR on payroll-related matters
- Assist with reporting and other accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in payroll processing preferred
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Experience with payroll/accounting software is a plus
Job Requirements:
- Experience in payroll processing.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.
- Paylocity is a plus!
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
