Job Title: Manager, RN

In this role, each practice site is led by a dedicated RN Manager who partners closely with the Registered Nurses on their care team. The RN Manager works alongside all members of the care team to ensure seamless, high‑quality patient care while fostering the professional growth of the nursing staff within their assigned location. This position blends clinical expertise with strong leadership, supporting staff development, optimizing workflows, and elevating the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provides direct leadership and management of the Registered Nurses within each practice site, guiding, supporting, and developing the RNs of each care team to ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality patient care.
  2. Works with all members of the care team—including providers, managers, and interdisciplinary staff—to coordinate and improve patient care.
  3. Works collaboratively with the Quality Manager to understand and help implement workflows with RNs aligned to the Quality Improvement (QI) plan, supporting teams in meeting key quality measures.
  4. Tracks clinical metrics and patient outcomes to drive improvements.
  5. Manages staffing schedules, resource allocation, recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations for nursing staff at their site.
  6. Conducts team meetings, ongoing education, and competency assessments.
  7. Serves as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex patient care issues.
  8. Promotes a positive team-oriented environment.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:

  1. BSN Registered Nurse licensure
  2. Current CPR certification.
  3. Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  4. Strong knowledge of outpatient workflows and multi-site operations.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  6. Proficiency with Epic EMR (minimum 2 years required).
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Experience with quality improvement and compliance initiatives preferred.

  5. Required to participate in continuous improvement of job responsibilities and organizational or work processes to advance the organization or department.
  6. Other specific duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  1. Prolonged standing and walking throughout clinic to support staff, shadow work flows, and respond to patient needs
  2. Frequent sitting
  3. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25-35 pounds
  4. Manual dexterity
  5. Visual and auditory – access patients, read medical information, effectively communicate
