We are expanding our Houston team and seeking skilled, safety driven Overhead Crane Mechanics who are ready to take on challenging and rewarding work.


Position Overview:

As a Overhead Crane Mechanic, you will perform critical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment used across industrial environments. Your expertise ensures our customers operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.


Key Responsibilities

  • Crane Repair & Maintenance: Inspect, diagnose, and repair overhead cranes, hoists, trolley systems, and related industrial lifting equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify root causes for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled service and inspections for onshore and offshore crane equipment.
  • Technical Interpretation: Read and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic drawings, and service manuals.
  • Component & Parts Management: Identify required replacement components and maintain accurate service documentation and tool control.
  • Safety First: Follow all company, client, OSHA, and environmental safety guidelines.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Overhead Crane Mechanic, Crane Technician, Hoist Technician, or Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Rigging Knowledge: Understanding of rigging practices and safe lifting procedures.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Clean motor vehicle record required.
  • Self Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate with clients professionally.
