WHAT WILL YOU DO AT POWELL?
- Work with clients in the advertising, marketing, media and tech sectors
- Assist in writing, editing and proofreading communication materials (i.e., press releases, media pitches and client correspondence)
- Stay current on industry trends and social media
- Create and build media lists for pitching
- Provide support in researching, compiling and analyzing media coverage for clients (i.e., news clippings, media recap reports)
- Write social copy drafts amplifying PR placements and supporting PR messaging and strategies for clients and Powell
- Track and analyze social media performance data for ongoing optimization and best in class deliverables
- Provide administrative support to the team as required
- Contributing to all aspects of account planning and strategy - including participating in client and /or, internal team meetings, brainstorms, etc.
- Handle media inquiries
WHAT CAN YOU BRING?

- Agency or communications experience preferred
- Must possess a BS/BA or relevant professional experience
- A strong understanding of the relationship between traditional public relations and social media
- Social media experience a plus
- Motivated self-starter
- Solid written and verbal communications skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Naturally curious and enthusiastic about learning new subjects
The pay range for this role is:
50,000 - 50,000 USD per year(Remote (United States))
