This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Application Analyst – Patient Access in United States.
In this role, you will support and optimize critical Patient Access applications that enable healthcare operations and improve patient experience across the care journey. You will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and enhancing healthcare IT systems throughout their lifecycle, ensuring stability, usability, and performance. Working in a fully remote environment, you will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system solutions. The role combines application support, configuration, troubleshooting, and small-scale project management within a complex healthcare ecosystem. You will also play a key part in ensuring Epic system functionality, particularly within Patient Access workflows such as scheduling, registration, and referrals. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to improving healthcare delivery through technology-driven solutions.
- Provide day-to-day application support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system and workflow issues related to Patient Access technologies.
- Configure, implement, test, and maintain healthcare applications, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational requirements.
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements into functional system designs and documentation.
- Support Epic applications (such as Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals), including configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
- Manage small to mid-sized projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver enhancements and implementations.
- Develop and maintain testing plans, scripts, training materials, and system documentation to ensure operational readiness and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify workflow improvements, support integrations, and ensure system integrity across platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience with relevant background).
- 2+ years of experience in application analysis, healthcare IT, or related technical support roles.
- Experience working with Patient Access systems and strong preference for Epic certification (Prelude, Cadence, Referrals).
- Strong understanding of system analysis, application lifecycle management, and healthcare workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
- Ability to analyze complex problems, document requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required Epic certifications.
- Competitive hourly compensation: $32.10 – $50.57 depending on experience.
