Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Interim Senior HR Generalist to support our growing organization. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can confidently manage a wide range of HR functions—from employee relations and compliance to benefits, payroll support, and HR systems.
This is a highly visible role that partners closely with leadership while serving as a trusted resource for employees across the organization.
*This is an interim position to help cover a leave of absence. Dates of assignment will be mid-July 2026 through mid-January 2027. Dates to be finalized.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support managers with performance management, discipline, and employee relations matters
- Lead investigations, employee relations issues, and workplace concerns
Benefits, Payroll & HR Systems
- Oversee benefits administration including enrollments, open enrollment, and qualifying events
- Serve as a resource for payroll, HRMS, and benefits-related inquiries
- Support payroll processes and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and reporting
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Participate in recruitment efforts, interviews, and candidate experience
- Lead or support employee engagement initiatives, committees, and events
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture
Risk, Safety & Leave Management
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and unemployment processes
- Ensure OSHA tracking and reporting compliance
- Interpret and administer FMLA, ADA, and leave programs
Technology & IT Support (as needed)
- Assist with HR-related systems, equipment coordination, and employee tech support
- Partner with vendors on system improvements and troubleshooting

Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR experience required
- 3+ years in a healthcare setting required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits, payroll, and employment law
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
