This is a high-impact commercial role focused on driving growth across the fast-evolving clean energy and electric mobility ecosystem. You will lead new business development efforts for innovative solutions spanning EV charging infrastructure, energy storage, and off-grid energy systems. The role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on prospecting, requiring both enterprise deal execution and long-term relationship building. Working remotely with travel as needed, you will engage with commercial developers, municipalities, utilities, and enterprise clients to expand market adoption. You will collaborate closely with internal technical, construction, and project teams to ensure seamless delivery from deal qualification through execution. This is a highly entrepreneurial role where market insight, technical understanding, and commercial execution come together to shape growth in a mission-driven industry.
- Drive new business development by identifying, prospecting, and closing opportunities in EV charging and clean energy solutions across multiple market segments.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Develop tailored solutions and proposals aligned with client needs, leveraging company offerings across EV infrastructure and energy systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, developers, municipalities, and strategic partners.
- Execute strategic sales initiatives across B2B, B2C, and government channels to support revenue growth objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and support expansion strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, construction, marketing, and finance to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence.
- Manage sales activity and pipeline tracking using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
- 10+ years of progressive sales or business development experience, ideally within EV charging, renewable energy, or clean technology sectors.
- Proven track record of generating new business and building revenue pipelines in competitive, fast-paced environments.
- Strong experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles across B2B and government or institutional clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that consistently exceed revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the EV, energy storage, or renewable energy market landscape.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, including pipeline management and forecasting.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and apply insights strategically.
- Ability to travel regularly and engage directly with clients and partners in the field.
- Self-starter mindset with adaptability, resilience, and a results-driven approach.
- Competitive compensation package including base salary and commission, with a total range of $188,000 to $210,000 annually.
