Job Description
cFocus Software seeks a NOC Analyst to join our program supporting the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in IT operations, network monitoring, or NOC environment.
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, and system operations.
- Ability to analyze system alerts, logs, and performance data
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching).
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux systems administration.
- Understanding of incident management and ITIL processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 operational environment.
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Required Certifications
- Role-appropriate IT and networking certifications demonstrating operational competency.
- Examples include: CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or other relevant certifications
- Monitor network, systems, and infrastructure performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and system issues.
- Perform incident detection, triage, escalation, and resolution.
- Maintain uptime and availability of enterprise services.
- Document incidents, outages, and resolutions in ticketing systems.
- Coordinate with engineering and cybersecurity teams for incident resolution.
- Perform routine system checks, maintenance, and updates.
- Support change management and deployment activities.
- Follow SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures.
