Job Description

Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking an Information Technology Generalist (Junior) to join our team of professionals in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Engineering and Logistics Directorate (SEA 05).

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Provide end-user support for hardware, software, network, wireless, and telecommunications issues across SEA 05 offices and remote locations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, communication equipment, and user system access.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices in support of daily operations.
  • Support Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) asset management, including deployment, tracking, inventory control, refresh support, and asset disposition.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, user accounts, asset assignments, and service requests to ensure compliance and accountability.
  • Assist with account management support for NMCI, NIPRNET, SIPRNET, FlankSpeed, Nautilus, and SharePoint access, including account requests, updates, and deactivations.
  • Support user access management, password resets, token coordination, and troubleshooting for classified and unclassified systems and services.
  • Monitor and assist with basic network connectivity issues, system performance concerns, and incident reporting requirements, including electronic spillage reporting support.
  • Prepare draft correspondence, technical documentation, presentations, and briefing materials related to IT operations and user support activities.
  • Provide customer service support and user guidance to SEA 05 personnel on IT policies, procedures, and standard troubleshooting practices.
  • Assist with implementation of ACIO directives and support continuous improvement of information flow processes and office automation efforts.
  • Support data collection, reporting, and presentation preparation for SEA 05 IT budgets, asset tracking, and operational requirements.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)

Education

  • Applicants must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or GED and three (3) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design, or authorization, or a related functional area; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; OR
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Experience

  • Understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Basic networking knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security+ certification.
  • Experience supporting Navy information systems, networks, and communication equipment.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and repairing hardware and software.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues and providing end-user support and training.
  • Experience in monitoring network performance and supporting system security and data integrity.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems and configuring network devices.
  • Experience assisting with server maintenance, documenting system configurations, and adhering to security protocols.

  • Must be a United States Citizen
