This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida

If you’re a systems-minded HR professional who thrives on building scalable, efficient operations and taking ownership of mission-critical processes, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As the Manager, People Operations & Systems, you won’t just maintain systems -- you’ll elevate them. You’ll drive accuracy, compliance, and automation across the employee lifecycle while ensuring our people operations infrastructure supports a growing, evolving organization.

In this role, you’ll lead core operational areas including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and leave administration, with an immediate focus on strengthening payroll accuracy, compliance, and process integrity. You’ll partner cross-functionally to streamline workflows, implement automation, and introduce smarter ways of working -- all while ensuring a seamless employee experience. Your work will directly influence data integrity, operational efficiency, and leadership decision-making.

What You Will Do

Reporting to our Sr Director, People & Human Resources, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading HRIS (Paylocity) administration, including system configuration, data integrity, reporting, and workflow optimization for scalability and efficiency.
  • Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations for U.S. and international employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing with strong controls.
  • Driving process improvements through automation, system enhancements, and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual work and improve operational accuracy.
  • Managing cross-functional projects related to HRIS and payroll implementations, upgrades, and process changes.
  • Overseeing benefits administration and leave of absence processes, ensuring compliance and a consistent employee experience.
  • Evaluating and optimizing people operations systems, processes, and vendors to support organizational growth and efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in HRIS, payroll, or people operations, with ownership of systems and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing U.S. multi-state payroll; exposure to international payroll processes.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity), including configuration, reporting, and workflow automation.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets to drive insights and reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, wage and hour laws, and benefits/leave regulations, with a demonstrated ability to improve processes through technology.

What We Will Provide You

  • Competitive base salary, bonuses, and comprehensive employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, and vision insurance with highly rated carriers; a 401(k) program with a company match; paid time off; company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance; and a free MASA membership.
  • A professional and friendly company culture that supports a clear mission: "Protecting families with compassion when others don’t."
  • An opportunity to take ownership of critical people operations systems and drive meaningful improvements in payroll, HRIS, and employee experience at scale.

Why We Think You’ll Love This Opportunity

This role is well-suited for someone who takes pride in building reliable, scalable processes and getting the details right. The work is hands-on and requires a high level of ownership, especially across payroll, systems, and compliance. You’ll work across teams to solve operational challenges and improve how things get done. If you’re someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and continuously improving processes, you’ll find this role a strong fit.
