🚀 What You’ll Be Owning

● Support Megaport’s regulatory, cyber security and privacy compliance programs, with a primary focus on LATAM telecommunications and cloud regulations, while assisting the wider compliance team globally when required.

● Research and track telecommunications, cyber security and cloud regulatory requirements, maintaining records of regulatory obligations, filings, and reporting deadlines.

● Prepare and coordinate license applications, regulatory filings, and compliance reporting with telecommunications authorities and other regulators.

● Monitor and investigate abuse incidents involving company IP infrastructure, including spam, phishing, DDoS activity, malicious traffic, and other misuse of network resources.

● Review and respond to abuse notifications from third parties, partners, and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely investigation and remediation.

● Analyze and process legal or regulatory requests related to infrastructure use (e.g., subpoenas, DMCA notices, or content removal requests).

● Prepare reports and documentation to support cyber security and privacy incident investigations, regulatory compliance activities, and internal compliance processes.

● Assist with customer security assurance activities such as responding to customer security and privacy questionnaires

🚀 What You Bring

● Experience in regulatory compliance, legal work, or cyber security compliance, ideally within the telecommunications, technology, or cloud sectors.

● Familiarity with telecommunications regulations and data protection frameworks (e.g., LGPD, GDPR, DMCA, or similar).

● Experience in abuse handling, security incident response, or network misuse

● Ability to interpret legal or regulatory documentation and coordinate responses with internal teams and legal counsel.

● Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.

● Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2 or higher) for handling international notifications and communications.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment, collaborating across teams and regions.

● Experience with compliance, monitoring, or workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, OneTrust, ticketing systems, or network monitoring tools)

  • Health Plan (SulAmérica)
