1. Role Purpose: Design, deployment, optimization, and governance of public cloud infrastructure. Ensures secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud environments while driving automation, standardization, and operational excellence across enterprise workloads.
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud environments, landing zones, and platform services across AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Develop and maintain automation using IaC for provisioning and environment standardization.
- Ensure cloud security, identity management, compliance posture, and operational governance across all deployments.
- Optimize performance, availability, capacity, and cost efficiency through continuous monitoring and improvements.
- Execute cloud migrations, re-platforming efforts, and modernization initiatives with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve operational stability.
- Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and application teams to enable cloud-ready solution delivery.
- Maintain reusable templates, automation scripts, and operational playbooks to improve engineering productivity.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
· Architectural compliance to standards & reference patterns
· Cloud platform performance, resiliency & cost optimization outcomes
· Reduction in solution delivery friction / engineering rework
· Impact on architectural runway decisions influencing business outcomes
· Reusability adoption & automation framework usage across teams
Qualifications & Experience:
· Degree: Graduate / Professional Degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
· Years of experience: Graduate – 6 to 8 years
· Relevant experience: 5 + years
Key Interfaces:
· Internal: Collaborates with Cloud Architects, DevOps Teams, Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and Enterprise Architecture to align cloud strategy, solution designs, and platform enablement.
· External: Coordinates with client cloud leaders, enterprise architects, infrastructure managers, and security/compliance stakeholders for cloud roadmap discussions, design reviews, and modernization planning.
