Position Description

Ready Mix Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities;

  1. Load your truck with ready mix concrete
  2. Drive the concrete to the job site
  3. Help unload the mixed concrete
  4. Inspect your truck for mechanical issues
  5. Perform or outsource maintenance

Position Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. High School diploma/GED.
  2. Have a minimum of 6 months Operator experience.
  3. Must have a CDL Class A license with Tanker endorsement
  4. Willing to do labor work
  5. Ability to work as a Team Member and work in a professional manner and a positive attitude
  6. Motivated self-starter and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  7. Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment.
  8. Frequent cross body movements such as bending, climbing into equipment, lifting (up to 75lbs), twisting, standing, balancing, stooping, handling materials, moving around hazardous sites.
  9. Good Eye to Hand coordination a must. Depth perception required.
  10. Flexible availability to include overtime and possible weekends.
  11. Must have the ability to communicate clearly, listen and understand information through spoken works and sentences to ensure full comprehension of job duties, safety regulations, and other situations that may require an immediate response
