Job Description
Ben Lomond Alpine Resort is looking for an experienced and motivated Cafe Supervisor to join our team at Ben Lomond Base for the upcoming season.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who can lead from the front, manage a small team, and deliver a great experience for our guests in a fast paced alpine environment.
About the role
You will oversee day to day cafe operations while supporting the wider resort team when needed. This includes assisting the manager and other supervisors across rentals and ticketing during busy periods, ensuring the entire base runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities
Manage and lead a small cafe team
Supervise daily cafe operations
Deliver fast, friendly customer service
Assist the manager and other supervisors across rentals and ticketing when required
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Assist with food preparation and basic cooking
Stock control and ordering
Skills and experience
Previous experience in a similar supervisory role
Strong barista skills
Solid understanding of food service operations
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Good communication and leadership skills
Requirements
Food Safety Certificate (essential)
RSA (essential)
First Aid Certificate (essential)
Barista experience (essential)
Chef experience or similar highly regarded
Must have own transport

Hours
Approximately 38 hours per week, with additional hours available when required
