A Burglary - Fire Alarm Service and Installation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and inspecting fire alarm systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Programming: Technicians install and program fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and comply with NFPA standards. This includes setting up control panels, sensors, and other related equipment.2
Inspection and Maintenance: Regular inspections and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems are crucial. Technicians test and troubleshoot system components, such as smoke detectors and pull stations, to ensure they function correctly.

Customer Interaction: Providing excellent customer service is essential. Technicians often communicate with clients to explain system operations, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the services provided.

Documentation: Accurate record-keeping is vital. Technicians must complete reports, daily logs, and inspection forms to document their work and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
