Responsibilities

The 2026 Summer Internship Program runs from May 18 through August 7.

  • Help locate, map, and document underground utilities using advanced survey and vacuum excavation tools.
  • Work alongside a 2-person field team on 2D and 3D mapping projects.
  • Collect and record data on vaults, utility poles, and overhead utilities.
  • Operate survey equipment like VRS and GPR to gather accurate measurements.
  • Safely expose and backfill utilities following industry standards.
  • Follow traffic control plans and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep organized field notes, sketches, and digital records to support projects.
  • Collaborate with survey crews to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
