The Cloud Architect is the senior technical owner of cloud architecture decisions for the LOB Cordis project. This role is responsible for defining secure, scalable, and reliable AWS architectures, acting as a technical reference for engineering teams and ensuring alignment with business and delivery goals.

Define and own AWS cloud architectures aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.

Design scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions following AWS best practices.

Lead infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).

Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for cloud adoption.

Act as a technical reference for development and DevOps teams.

Oversee cloud security, access management, and compliance requirements.

Support cloud migration initiatives and architectural evolution.

Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and agile ceremonies.

Senior-level experience as Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role.

Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in production environments.

Proven experience designing cloud architectures for scalability and high availability.

Proven experience leading on-premise to cloud migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution.

Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation).

Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS).

Strong understanding of cloud security and IAM concepts.

Experience working in agile delivery environments.

Conversational English (spoken and written).

Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.

AWS certifications.

Experience with cost optimization and cloud governance practices.
