As a Mechanic at Kenco Hydraulics, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and equipment. Your work will directly impact our customers’ operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues
Repair and maintain on-road, off-road, and industrial equipment
Service hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and related components
Rebuild and refurbish equipment to restore full functionality
Perform welding and fabrication as needed
Complete accurate service and repair documentation
Follow all safety procedures and uphold Kenco’s safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities
Provide professional, high-quality service to customers
Assist with additional duties as assigned
This role may include overtime, occasional travel, and on-call work.
What You BringWe’re looking for someone who is both technically skilled and motivated to deliver excellent service.
Preferred qualifications:
Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with hydraulic, mechanical, and compressed air systems
Experience with hydraulic plumbing, welding, and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics
Willingness to learn and operate shop equipment (lathes, mills, presses, etc.)
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills (or willingness to learn)
Clean driving record
Physical requirements:
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting
Full range of motion and ability to push/pull as needed
