Summer Day Camp Junior Counselor: The Junior Counselor supports the camp program by assisting Senior Counselors with camper supervision, activities, and daily routines. This is an entry-level role designed to build leadership skills, responsibility, and experience working with children in a fun, safe camp environment. • This is a part-time, seasonal position with the Edison Township Recreation Department.• Must be able to work June 18 through August 14, 7:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Location: Sports Building• Must be minimum of 16 years old, and meet minimum requirements per New Jersey Youth Camp Safety Standards. • Interest preferred in one or more of the following areas: arts & crafts, sports, board games, aquatics, singing, music, skits, recreational games, etc.• Previous volunteer or work experience with diverse populations preferred.• Hourly pay rate up to $17.
