Manager, Clinical Development - Greater Toronto Area at 123Dentist – Toronto, Ontario

Lead the execution of clinical training programs 🏫🦷 across our clinics — focusing on digital dentistry 💻🦷, patient education 📚, dental hygiene optimization 🪥, and integrating orthodontics 😁 for comprehensive care. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you’ll ensure training and workflows are effectively implemented at the clinic level.

🦷 Key Responsibilities

Clinical Training & Implementation

• Train dental professionals on digital workflows & patient education 📲🦷

• Guide teams on best practices with digital scanning technology 🔬

• Support integration of perio, ortho, restorative care 🪥😁

• Coach dental hygiene teams for consistent, top-notch patient care 👩‍⚕️💙

• Deliver virtual 💻 & in-person 🏢 training sessions

• Create documents & guides for best practice adoption 📝

• Provide chairside support for hygiene, orthodontics, and patient scanning 🦷📊

Operational & Workflow Support

• Partner with clinic teams to streamline workflows & communication ⚙️🤝

• Implement systems to improve treatment planning & case acceptance 📈

• Gain buy-in from Office Managers & Doctors 👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️

• Follow up to ensure accountability & adoption ✅

Performance & Quality Assurance

• Monitor clinic needs and track training effectiveness 📊

• Ensure adherence to industry standards & regulatory compliance 🛡️

Additional Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Manager to execute strategic initiatives 🏆

• Stay updated on trends in digital dentistry 💻🦷, hygiene 🪥, orthodontics 😁, and patient care 🩺

• Collaborate with operations & education teams to review clinic training needs 🤝📚

🎓 Education & Credentials

• Active Dental Hygiene License/Registration 🦷

• 10+ years in Dental Hygiene + 5+ years mentoring experience 👩‍⚕️🌟

💡 Skills & Abilities

• Influence and guide doctors & teams to take action 🦷👩‍⚕️

• Strong presentation & communication skills 🗣️

• Digital scanning experience (iTero preferred) 🔬💻

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for hygiene teams 📜

• Computer proficient (Microsoft Office Suite 💻)

• Travel up to 80% ✈️ (mostly day travel, some overnight 🌙)

• Experience in orthodontics/clear aligner therapy 😁

• Active driver’s license 🚗; able to lift up to 15 lbs 🏋️
