Job Summary:
Riley Blake Designs is seeking a skilled, creative Digitizer to join our Machine Embroidery Department. We are seeking to fill both a full-time and a part-time position. You will be responsible for digitizing designs using Wilcom software and collaborating with the Machine Embroidery Specialist. You will interpret designer art using various digitizing techniques and thread blending to create high-quality embroidery designs. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, have experience with various thread techniques, and possess a strong understanding of 3D projects. Familiarity with Google Workspace is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Digitize designs for machine embroidery using Wilcom software.
• Collaborate with the Machine Embroidery Specialist to develop high-quality embroidery designs.
• Interpret designer art through digitizing techniques and thread blending to achieve the desired results.
• Assist in developing and digitizing 3D embroidery projects as needed.
• Maintain organization and documentation of digitized designs in Google Workspace.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications:
• Proficiency with Wilcom software for digitizing embroidery designs.
• Strong creative thinking and the ability to interpret designs for machine embroidery.
• Experience with various digitizing techniques and thread blending is essential.
• Collaborative mindset, open to working within established precedents.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work on 3D embroidery projects is an asset.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace for document management and collaboration.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience with consumer-based embroidery products is an asset.
• At least 2 years of prior experience digitizing for machine embroidery is necessary.
