Administrative Supervisor Position Summary

The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications is required for all Patient Care area Positions.

Supervises the daily clinical activities of the Nursing Department, assesses departmental nursing care needs based upon patient acuities and plans required staffing. Recommends and supports goals and objectives that are consistent with the mission statement of Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Delivers exceptional quality and service to all patients and other customers through a constant pursuit of excellence and respect for every individual, fosters an environment of participation, teamwork and growth.

Administrative Supervisor Position Requirements

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Baccalaureate Degree in nursing preferred.

Licensed and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, as applicable.

Experience

A minimum of five years in nursing with one year experience in a management position.

Administrative Supervisor Work Schedule

• Usually works two out of four weekends.
• Works holidays, usually every other.
• Expected to work overtime if the need arises.
• Must be willing to come to work during an emergency, i.e., a disaster.
• Can be full or part-time
• Part-time will be expected to work extra shifts per week to cover vacation, illness, etc.

Administrative Supervisor Benefits
