About This Position
Merchandiser
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evening and weekend assignments can be required with proper notice.
Merchandising which includes building displays, creating signage.
Provide photos of evaluations to show others what you are seeing at the stores.
Help reorganize merchandise locations during product/category resets.
Perform special assignments from the Marketing Director
Assist the Pricebook team as needed.
Work with vendors to uphold and maintain retail contracts, displays, and general compliance.
Maintain an inventory of storage items and different display pieces.
Report any issues found at the store level to the correct department.
Handle any other work that can be assigned at the supervisor's discretion.
Education/Experience Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent
Convenience store experience is preferred

Physical Requirements: This position is performed in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to general office equipment, beverage equipment, coolers, and any other site-specific equipment/factors. You could also encounter exposure to hazardous materials and loud noises. This job requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach regularly. Must be able to frequently be required to lift, push, or pull weight of at least 5 to 75 pounds. Ability to work in different Midwest Petroleum Stations. Reasonable accommodation may be made to assist an otherwise qualified individual in the performance of the job.

Midwest Petroleum operates 60 stores within a 150-mile radius that employs approximately 600 employees. Midwest Petroleum markets fuel through the ZX, Conoco, and Phillips 66 brands.
Primary Purpose of Job: Ensure that Midwest Petroleum Company stations are upholding company standards and following the policies and procedures put in place by the management team. This is done by visiting all the Midwest Petroleum locations to evaluate the product placement, signage, etc. This team member also helps reset merchandise in the store under the direction of the Marketing Director.
