Location: Tallahassee, FL
Salary: $50,000–$55,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

About the Role:
Florida Healthy Kids Corporation is seeking a dynamic Outreach Specialist to help expand access to affordable health care coverage for children statewide. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, engaging with the community, and using communication and creativity to drive meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as main contact for community and corporate partners
• Build and strengthen partnerships that increase awareness, enrollment, and retention
• Develop and coordinate sponsorship opportunities and promotional campaigns
• Identify and onboard new outreach partners
• Create and edit marketing content and coordinate design projects
• Attend and staff outreach events statewide
• Oversee promotional material production and grant recipient deliverables

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, and operate office and computer equipment and phones. Office duties may require bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying up to 25 lbs., driving a motor vehicle, standing and prolonged periods of sitting. Travel:

This role includes occasional same-day and overnight travel for outreach events. Candidates must have a valid Florida driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Required: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, community organizing or advocacy experience, public speaking skills, and healthcare industry knowledge
• Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact, JotForm, Absorb LMS)
