OVERVIEW
The HR Generalist provides excellent customer service to all WAC team members, operating under our fundamental HR principle of People First. This position processes payroll and union benefits for the organization, as well as various Human Resources functions as assigned.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Process bi-weekly payroll for all team members
· Assist with company 401(K) administration, including gathering documentation for yearly audits
· Handle the creation and submission of various union documents, including but not limited to union rosters, dues, health & welfare paperwork
· Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation for personnel files, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classification, and leaves of absence
· Assist WAC team members with their employment concerns
· Assist WAC managers and supervisors with configuring our HRIS to suit their needs
· Submit non-union benefit bills for payment
· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years of human resources experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· PHR certification preferred
· Experience with Paylocity preferred
· Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
· “People First” approach to Human Resources
· Strong competency with Microsoft Office. Paylocity experience preferred.
· Analytics and data reporting experience desired.
