Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Slot Manager at Crystal Bay Casino, located in Crystal Bay, NV. The Slot Manager is responsible for the overall performance, integrity, and guest experience of the slot operations at Crystal Bay Casino. This role oversees slot floor operations, team leadership, revenue optimization, compliance, and maintenance of all slot-related assets. The ideal candidate brings a balance of analytical skills, leadership presence, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Performance
- Oversee daily slot floor operations to ensure optimal machine uptime, placement, and performanceAnalyze slot performance metrics (coin-in, hold %, theoretical win) and adjust strategy accordinglyPartner with leadership team to develop and execute slot marketing and promotional initiativesManage slot mix, including new game selection, conversions, and removals
Team Leadership
- Hire, train, schedule, and develop slot department team members (attendants, techs, supervisors)Set clear performance expectations and hold team accountable to service and operational standardsFoster a culture of integrity, teamwork, and guest-first service
Guest Experience
- Ensure a high level of guest service on the slot floorResolve guest disputes, jackpot payouts, and service issues in a professional and timely mannerBuild relationships with key players and VIP guests in coordination with the player development teamCompliance & ControlsEnsure strict adherence to all gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policiesMaintain accurate records related to jackpots, fills, credits, and machine auditsWork closely with compliance and finance teams to ensure reporting accuracyMaintenance & TechnologyOversee slot machine maintenance and ensure minimal downtimeCoordinate with slot technicians and vendors on repairs, upgrades, and installationsStay current on industry trends, new technologies, and emerging games
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of casino slot operations experience preferred, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong understanding of slot analytics, performance metrics, and revenue optimizationKnowledge of Nevada gaming regulations and compliance requirementsProven leadership and team development skillsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesExperience with slot management systems L&W SDS, CMP and EBS preferred.
