Job Description
Title: Residential Counselor - MAP Pay Range: $20 - 23.75Schedule: 30 Hours Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11 PM-9 AM (blended shift, 6am-9am are awake hrs.) What You’ll Do: Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE), fostering skills for daily living and community integration. Key responsibilities include: Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.Implement Treatment Plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.Transport residents to appointments and community activities.Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
What You Bring: High school diploma/GED; mental health experience preferred.Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.).Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.Bonus: Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
