Role Overview:
VersAbility Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Grant Writer Intern to support funding and development efforts within our Marketing and Development team.
This role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit grant writing, research, and storytelling. The intern will help translate program outcomes and participant experiences into compelling narratives that support funding opportunities and advance services for individuals with disabilities.

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct research to identify prospective grant funding opportunities
- Assist in drafting and editing grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents
- Support development of compelling narratives based on program data and outcomes
- Collect and organize impact stories and program data for grant reporting
- Assist with grant reporting and stewardship for awarded funding
- Collaborate with program staff to gather information for proposals and reports
- Maintain organized grant files, tracking systems, and documentation
- Support additional development and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Public Administration, - Nonprofit Management, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in nonprofit development, grant writing, and social impact

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This position operates primarily in an office environment and is largely sedentary. The role requires extended periods of computer use, writing, and document review.
Occasional standing, walking, and participation in meetings or events may be required.

This is a part-time internship. Hours to be discussed during the interview process.
