  • Responsibilities & Requirements
    • Ensure air compressors are operational and equipment is maintained daily
    • Maintain a clean, organized work cell (trash removal, sweeping, wiping equipment, no clutter)
    • Keep all tools and materials in designated locations; verify at end of shift
    • Stage materials for next day’s production
    • Maintain high accuracy with minimal errors; log and track production data
    • Perform hourly quality checks and adjust as needed
    • Operate equipment safely, including inspecting materials and preventing machine damage
    • Remain at machine during operation and monitor performance
    • Complete daily startup checks (VPO, gas levels, material verification)
    • Load/unload materials and log parts into ERP system
    • Support workflow to downstream processes (press brakes)
    • Handle materials properly to prevent damage; track and report scrap
    • Optimize material usage by tracking drops and coordinating with team members
    • Perform routine maintenance (filters, lubrication, cleaning, inspections, logs)
    • Follow all preventive maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines
    • Maintain dust collectors, slag removal, and overall machine condition
    • Identify and submit improvement ideas regularly
    • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours
    • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ownership of equipment
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
