- Ensure air compressors are operational and equipment is maintained daily
- Maintain a clean, organized work cell (trash removal, sweeping, wiping equipment, no clutter)
- Keep all tools and materials in designated locations; verify at end of shift
- Stage materials for next day’s production
- Maintain high accuracy with minimal errors; log and track production data
- Perform hourly quality checks and adjust as needed
- Operate equipment safely, including inspecting materials and preventing machine damage
- Remain at machine during operation and monitor performance
- Complete daily startup checks (VPO, gas levels, material verification)
- Load/unload materials and log parts into ERP system
- Support workflow to downstream processes (press brakes)
- Handle materials properly to prevent damage; track and report scrap
- Optimize material usage by tracking drops and coordinating with team members
- Perform routine maintenance (filters, lubrication, cleaning, inspections, logs)
- Follow all preventive maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain dust collectors, slag removal, and overall machine condition
- Identify and submit improvement ideas regularly
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ownership of equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
