Mount Kisco, NY – 1:1 Student Aide (Nursing) in Mount Kisco, New York at Regional Care Network

Pay: $25/hour

Location: Schools across Northern Westchester and Putnam County (Peekskill, Ossining, Yorktown, Carmel, Mahopac, Bedford, Chappaqua and surrounding districts)

Schedule: Daytime school hours, MondayFriday. Hours vary week to week. Follows the school calendar, so you get weekends, holidays and school breaks off.

Regional Care Network (RCN) is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to work 1:1 with students who need extra support during the school day. Youll be a consistent, caring presence for one student, helping them stay safe, comfortable and ready to learn. Assignments can be at any school in the area, so let us know which towns work best for you.

What youll do

• Provide 1:1 support to a student throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom
• Help with personal care such as toileting, hygiene, feeding and mobility
• Help with transfers, positioning and moving around the building
• Watch the students condition and report any changes to the school nurse
• Follow the students care plan and work closely with teachers, aides and therapists
• Support the student during lunch, recess, specials and transitions

Requirements

• Active New York State CNA certification, in good standing on the NYS Nurse Aide Registry
• Experience with children or students with special needs preferred
• Patience, reliability and a genuine love of working with kids
• Fingerprint clearance for school employment (well walk you through it)
• Reliable transportation
