Position Overview

Friday Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Flat Rock, NC. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to keep operations running efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical skills, enjoys hands-on problem-solving, and is comfortable working with a variety of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment.

• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.

• Work with plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and general facility systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from 480V three-phase power to 24V controls.

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Perform preventive maintenance and document completed work.

• Install, relocate, align, and set up equipment and machinery.

• Perform basic welding and fabrication.

• Operate machine shop equipment, including lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders.

• Maintain facility equipment and grounds.

• Order parts and maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Follow established safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.

• Basic welding and fabrication experience.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.

• Forklift experience is a plus.
