The roleWere growing in Kildare, and we need carers to grow with us. Your one goal is to bring as many great Healthcare Assistants into Hibernia as you can, safely and compliantly, so every client in Newbridge and the surrounding towns gets the care theyve been promised.
Youll own the full journey, from first contact to a carers first visit. Youll work closely with our scheduling and operations teams, and your results will show up directly in the hours we deliver.
Where youll recruitNewbridge, Kildare town, Naas, Kilcullen, Monasterevin, Athy, Rathangan, the Curragh and surrounding rural areas. Many of our clients live outside town centres, so finding carers who live locally, and who drive, is central to the job.
Key responsibilities- Run high-volume hiring for Healthcare Assistants against weekly and monthly start targets agreed with Operations.
- Manage the full funnel: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers and start.
- Run fast phone and video screens, and hold regular in-person interview and assessment days in Newbridge so good candidates arent lost to slow processes.
- Build a local talent pipeline across various sectors and communities.
- Run referral campaigns with our existing Kildare carers.
- Deliver compliant onboarding every time: Garda Vetting, right-to-work, references and mandatory training. Speed never comes at the cost of safety.
- Work with Scheduling to prioritise hiring in areas with the biggest coverage gaps and unassigned hours.
- Keep Fountain Hire accurate and up to date, and report weekly on applies, screens, interviews, offers, starts, show-rate, time-to-hire, and early retention (30, 60 and 90 days).
- Test and improve adverts, job boards, social media and local channels to grow applicant flow and cut drop-off between offer and start.
- Represent Hibernia at jobs fairs, open days and community events across Kildare.
- 13+ years in high-volume recruitment. Healthcare, frontline or hourly hiring is an advantage.
- A confident interviewer with good phone manner, who can spot care, reliability and values in a candidate.
- Organised and thorough with compliance steps (vetting, right-to-work, references).
- Energetic about local outreach. Youre happy to be out in the community, not just behind a job board.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car. This is essential for travel across Kildare.
- Data-curious: you track your funnel, see where candidates drop off and fix it.
- Knowledge of Kildare and its communities is a real plus.
- 40,00045,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
- A values-led team, clear goals, autonomy, and visible impact: every carer you hire means more care for people in their own homes.
- Training, development and progression routes into senior recruitment or operations.
