Job Description
Manufacturing or distribution-center experience preferred.
Experience with retailer routing guides and customer compliance requirements desirable.
Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Working knowledge of EDI and ASN processes.
Ability to analyze freight costs, shipment data, and transportation KPIs.
Power BI or comparable reporting experience preferred.
Planning, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and data accuracy.
Sense of urgency and customer service orientation.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Carrier coordination and negotiation skills.
Primarily office-based, with regular interaction with warehouse and shipping operations.
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Occasional travel to warehouses, carriers, customers, or distribution centers may be required.
Availability to respond to urgent transportation exceptions outside normal business hours when operationally necessary.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
