Position Overview

Were seeking a dependable Machine Operator to operate wire-drawing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wire-drawing machines according to work instructions.

• Select materials and adjust equipment to meet product specifications.

• Monitor wire size, finish, and strength through quality checks.

• Use micrometers, hand tools, and wire welders for fuse/butt welding.

• Spool, tag, and prepare finished products for shipping.

• Operate hoists, pulleys, and guides to move materials safely.

• Record production data accurately.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Lift up to 50 lbs. and work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to read work instructions and use measurement tools.

• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.
