About This Position
Provide excellent customer service while contacting and interaction with past due customers to renew agreements. Manage telephone and field collections to ensure company goals are met on a daily and weekly basis. Call and verify all customer references. Perform additional duties of the store manager and tire technician in their absence. Essential duties and responsibilities:
Verifies order forms for accuracy and types rental agreements for customers
Accept customer payments, ensuring proper due dates align to a customer’s pay date
Enter all customer contacts and commitments into VersiRent’s operating system twice per day Organize visits to customer households on a daily or semi-daily basis Forward collection letters to delinquent customers and coordinate with customer, if applicable, to manage their account
Review delinquent customers on a monthly basis to decide if merchandise will be kept on rent or needs to be picked up Conduct skip tracing and follow up on accounts that skipped on making on-time payments Transport merchandise from past due accounts to the store on a weekly basis Notify the store manager on accounts chronically past due to determine if legal action is required Submit all field paperwork and cash payment(s) immediately after returning to the store
Assist the store manager with recording and tagging all inventory in VersiRent’s operating system
Schedule sales appointments daily in the CRM and assist with closing sales
Commitments: Permanent full-time position available Operate on an 8-hour shift (9 am—7 pm) from Mon-Sat with employees given two days off (Sunday and additional scheduled day) Assist coworkers when needing to. This includes: assisting with sales, responding to customer complaints, mounting and balancing merchandise onto customer vehicles, refurbishing returns within 24 hours to re-rent, cleaning the showroom, shop and company vehicle
Candidate requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Computer literacy/proficiency with windows operating system (minimum 1 year of experience) Valid state driver’s license and good driving record Exceptional customer service/relations skill (minimum 1 year of experience) Ability to work with minimal supervision, using problem solving and negotiation skills Ability to speak clearly and listen carefully to communicate effectively with customers Ability to work under pressure while also meeting deadlines Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds on a daily/semi-daily basis Prior experience doing collection work in-store and/or in the field (minimum 1 year of experience

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
