About This Position
About the Role:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse distribution operations, with a primary focus on employee safety, operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role drives performance through clearly defined KPIs and leverages the Plex operating system to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality order fulfillment.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and direct daily warehouse operations, including storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, with a focus on meeting customer expectations.
· Ensure all activities align with company policies, procedures, and service-level commitments.
· Establish, monitor, and drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction metrics.
· Utilize the Plex operating system to manage inventory, track performance metrics, and support real-time decision-making.
· Maintain and enhance warehouse productivity and reporting systems to improve service levels.
· Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to support efficient picking, packing, and shipping processes.
· Proactively identify potential delays or service disruptions and implement corrective actions to minimize customer impact.
· Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies and best practices that enhance customer experience.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.
· Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accuracy and real-time visibility within the Plex system.
· Coordinate closely with clients, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure seamless and reliable outbound operations.
· Lead workforce management activities, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management, with an emphasis on service excellence.
· Prepare and analyze reports (e.g., outbound activity, KPI dashboards, inventory status, aging/obsolete stock) to drive continuous improvement.
· Monitor service quality, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
· Ensure proper stock rotation and inventory handling to maintain product quality and availability.
· Maintain warehouse equipment, facilities, and materials, including conducting regular safety inspections.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.

· Basic math proficiency (high school level or higher).
· Ability to operate warehouse equipment and vehicles safely.
· Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma required
· Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience in a similar role, preferably in shipping/distribution.
· Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems; Plex experience preferred.
