Job Title: RN, Charge (SUD) Discharge Planner (Cumberland)

Description
Talantage is seeking a Charge RN (SUD program) to join our team. The Charge RN is responsible for providing supervision of nursing and support staff on assigned shift in correctional setting. Additional responsibilities include providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients. The Charge RN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical and mental health needs. Day and evening shifts available.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred but not required
• Over two years of experience working in a community or correctional based substance abuse clinic
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Prior experience providing nursing care and working with a high degree of autonomy required
• Prior experience in supervising nursing staff preferred
• Experience working in a correctional environment preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
