Job Summary
Allia Health Group is building a digital health system across men’s health, women’s health, and longevity. Clinical services are delivered through Allia Care, a national provider network supported by centralized clinical operations and an in-house EHR (targeting Q3 2026).
Allia Care powers clinical services for group subsidiaries and provides medical governance across the portfolio, including Brello Health, HelloWellness, and Southend Pharmacy.
We are hiring a remote Fractional Chief Medical Officer to be the senior-most medical leader accountable for clinical decision-making, clinical operations, quality & patient safety, and healthcare information systems across the ecosystem, scaling reliably at 15,000+ patients/month while maintaining a high bar for clinical integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Set the clinical vision and standards of care across men’s health, women’s health, and longevity
Establish clear clinical decision rights and governance mechanisms across Allia Care and subsidiaries
Own the clinical operating system including coverage models, clinician supply/demand planning, and operational KPIs
Design safety-first throughput guardrails to maintain clinical quality during growth
Build and run a telehealth-native Quality & Patient Safety program
Build and lead a high-performing clinician organization including recruiting, training, and supervision
Serve as executive owner of clinical product strategy for the in-house EHR and clinical tooling
Own clinical due diligence for new programs and treatments
Own the clinical compliance posture in partnership with Legal and Compliance
Maintain safe prescriber-to-pharmacy workflows for medications fulfilled through the pharmacy subsidiary
What We Require
MD or DO from an accredited institution with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Urology, or related specialty
10+ years of clinical experience, including 5+ years in senior clinical leadership (e.g., Medical Director, VP Medical Affairs, CMO)
Proven experience leading clinical operations, quality, and patient safety programs in a telehealth or tech-enabled care environment
Experience managing provider performance, peer review, and clinical governance frameworks
Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare regulations (HIPAA, state medical boards, telehealth, prescribing compliance)
Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams
Experience working with EHR systems and clinical technology platforms
(e.g., Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or proprietary systems)Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery models
Preferred Requirement
Prior experience as a Chief Medical Officer or equivalent in a digital health or multi-entity organization
Experience scaling clinical operations in high-volume environments (10K+ patients/month)
Experience building or influencing EHR systems, clinical workflows, and decision support tools
Experience managing multi-state provider networks, including 1099 clinicians
Familiarity with pharmacy-integrated care models, including medication safety and 503A environments
Experience with healthcare analytics and reporting tools
(e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
