Description:

The DuPage Senior Citizens Council/Kane Senior Council (DSCC/KSC) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer-driven organization committed to the well-being, socialization, and health of seniors. DSCC/KSC is the designated Meals on Wheels and Community Dining provider in DuPage and Kane County.

DSCC/KSC is seeking a Full-Time Administrative Support person to handle day-to-day administrative tasks across multiple departments. Duties typically include a mix of clerical, organizational, and coordinated tasks. Superior organizational & communication abilities – written & verbal a must. Ability to gather data, analyze information, and prepare reports. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries
  • Prepare, format, and file documents (digital and physical)
  • Maintain the organization's filing and record-keeping systems
  • Enter updates, and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Respond to routine requests and resolve minor issues
  • Support volunteer or client relations as needed
  • Compile reports, spreadsheets, and basic presentations

Job Benefits

  • $45,760 - $49,920 ($22-$24) Hour Commensurate with experience

Qualifications

  • College Degree relevant to the position or related job experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic data entry and record-keeping skills
  • Position requires a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • Must have an acceptable driving record
