About This Position
We are seeking a highly organized, client-focused, and detail-oriented Client Services Specialist to join our growing team in our Fort Worth office. In this role, you will support and maintain retirement plans while delivering exceptional service to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working directly with clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support a designated group of 401(k) retirement plans
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries related to plan operations, eligibility, and administration
- Maintain and update client records in internal systems and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
- Document and track plan transactions (loans, distributions, rollovers, contributions)
- Perform annual plan reviews, including gathering and analyzing required data
- Prepare plan financial reports and Form 5500 filings with required schedules
- Determine employee eligibility based on census data and plan provisions
- Prepare and deliver client reports and work products
- Facilitate electronic signature process for Form 5500 and follow up with clients
- Organize and maintain client documentation and files
- Identify and escalate complex plan issues as needed
- Communicate additional billing for out-of-scope services
- Assist with team projects and additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- 2–3+ years of experience in financial services or retirement plan administration preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Familiarity with PensionPro and/or FTWilliams a plus
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed
