As a Commercial Loan Coordinator you will be responsible for commercial loan data gathering and commercial loan client service from pre-approval to closing and everywhere in-between. This includes loan research and data input, while ensuring that all files are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policy and applicable regulations You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying loan documentation, entity documents, and all associated collateral instruments. You will provide exceptional service to our clients and your team members primarily offering support to Commercial Lenders. You will establish and maintain effective business relationships with our clients, outside vendors and other team members, and by providing exceptional support to our Commercial Lending team, you will enjoy a unique opportunity to learn the business of commercial banking.This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM with flexibility. Job Responsibilities: Assists the Commercial Lenders with commercial loan application data gathering and compliance with bank and regulatory policies Images appropriate front end documentation adhering to company guidelines Assists the Commercial Lenders with client communication through email, written correspondence, telephone, and in person on pending or existing loans Assist clients with their banking needs by preparing necessary documentation in order to meet our clients needs or utilizing other departments within the bank to provide the answers to client questions for quick and accurate customer service Inputs data into our commercial lending software when acting on the behalf of the Commercial Lender Assists the Commercial Lenders with the loan pipeline as the loans are moving through the process Assists the Commercial Lenders with identification and collection of loan client documentation Assists the Commercial Lenders with resolving outstanding exception items Manage and maintain the banks collateral vault and records Help to promote a positive work environment by working as a team to ensure that all loans are completed in a timely manner to meet our deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude Participate in a collaborative team environment by sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members Analysis of corporate documents, and detailed collateral research in order to comply with application regulations to include Patriot Act, Beneficial Ownership, HMDA, Reg B, etc. Review appraisals, title commitments, flood certificates, UCC searches, insurance, etc. from appropriate outside vendors Maintain an understanding of proper documentation of various forms of commercial loans Brief review of loan documents produced by the Commercial Loan Documentation department for accuracy before closing Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A high school diploma or GED is required An associate or undergraduate degree in Finance is preferred Two years of previous customer service experience, preferably in a financial institution or loan related field Two years of prior experience in a financial institution or loan related field is preferred An intermediate level of computer proficiency and literacy Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail Basic math skills required Dependability, adaptability, drive and initiative are essential Solid internal/external customer service abilities and communication skills Able to make sound quick decisions on your own and in a team environment Ability to prioritize and multi-task are critical Ability to work independently while managing and meeting multiple deadlines Ability to take instructions from a number of people Requires less than two years of relevant experience Learning technical and professional skills Learning and/or gaining experience on compliance regulations & documentation Learning and/or gaining experience on 90 day goals Learning and/or gaining experience in the below types of collateral structures (NON RE; HELOCS; KS/MO/AZ RE; KS/MO CONSTRUCTION; CIT/COLLATERAL SUBSTITUTIONS)
