Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute plant-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve overall equipment effectiveness, reduce operating costs, and enhance process efficiency
- Facilitate structured improvement workshops utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to drive root cause analysis, process mapping, and sustainable problem resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality, materials, and engineering to ensure adherence to APQP standards, support new product introductions, and strengthen operational reliability
- Provide oversight and optimization of ERP system usage to ensure data integrity, enhance production planning, and improve demand forecasting and inventory management
- Develop, maintain, and communicate key performance indicators, dashboards, and analytical reports to monitor performance and inform leadership decision-making
- Train, coach, and mentor employees at all organizational levels on Continuous Improvement tools and principles to reduce lead times, increase productivity, and strengthen ownership and accountability
- Establish and maintain standardized work processes and supporting documentation in alignment with ISO and IATF quality and compliance requirements
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning by aligning improvement initiatives with strategic business objectives
- Drive measurable improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction metrics
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline
- Proven experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives in manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Advanced knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt certification strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, CAPA, Eight Discipline problem solving, and ISO or IATF quality management systems
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent systems
- Advanced capability in data analysis and visualization tools including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Demonstrated innovation and adaptability, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and adopt new tools and approaches
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering measurable improvements and business impact
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills to gain alignment and drive change
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability, balancing speed, risk, and resource considerations
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Professional certifications from ASQ, including CQE, CMQ/OE, or CQA, preferred
