Are you a detail-oriented, highly organized professional passionate about fiscal stewardship, community health, and program coordination? NVRH is seeking a dedicated Prevention Grants & Finance Manager to support the mission of our Prevention Lead Organization. In this role, you’ll provide grant administration, financial tracking, and compliance oversight for multiple state- and federally-funded substance misuse prevention grants—helping ensure strong, sustainable prevention work across the Northeast Kingdom and Lamoille Valley. This is a grant-funded role and contingent on continued funding availability.
About the Role
As the Prevention Grants & Finance Manager, you’ll play a central role in supporting the Director of Substance Misuse Prevention by managing financial, administrative, and compliance activities for all assigned grants. You’ll collaborate closely with the NVRH Business Office, community partners, and subrecipients to ensure accurate budgeting, timely invoicing, and adherence to all state, federal, and organizational requirements.

- Lead financial management and compliance for multiple state and federal grants, including budgeting, tracking expenditures, and preparing invoices and reports.
- Monitor grant deliverables, support continuation and renewal applications, and assist with long-term sustainability planning.
- Serve as the primary contact for subrecipients, providing budget support, contract coordination, compliance guidance, and audit preparation.
- Collaborate with the NVRH Business Office and Director to ensure accurate reconciliation, reporting, and alignment between financial and programmatic goals. Maintain organized grant files, support required meetings and trainings, and contribute to a professional, compliant, and collaborative work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferred in Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Health, or related field) and at least 2 years of experience in grant or financial coordination.
- Experience with state or federal grants, including budgeting, invoicing, reconciliation, and interpreting grant requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and independent decision-making skills.
