Responsibilities:

• Lead by Example: Model Companys Core Values in every action and decision. Champion Health & Safety and Quality as top organizational priorities. Lead with accountability and drive the organization toward world-class performance in alignment with the companys LMA leadership principles.
• Operational Collaboration: Serve as an active and influential member of the Operations Team, promoting excellence across all functions and treating the Operations Team as your primary team.
• Engineering Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the Engineering team and systems, ensuring quality is embedded in every process. Develop versatile engineers capable of delivering strong technical and application support to customers, including periodic on-site visits to end users.
• Customer Quality & Performance: Oversee the professional management of all customer-related quality and performance issues through the CAR system. Leverage data and reporting to deliver timely, effective, and permanent corrective actions, maintaining clear and proactive customer communication.
• Health, Safety & Quality Systems: Lead the Health & Safety and Quality teams to maintain robust, ISO-compliant systems that promote a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and customers to understand industry and market needs related to engineering, product design, quality, and performance. Build strong relationships between the sales network and engineering/quality teams to enhance responsiveness and drive innovation.
• Manufacturing Support: Ensure all prints and routers issued to the production floor are accurate, complete, and easy to follow. Establish a standard that enables shop-floor teams to operate with confidence and clarity. Collaborate with leadership and manufacturing teams to resolve internal engineering or quality issues efficiently.
• Team Development & Meetings: Lead effective bi-weekly Level 10 (L10) meetings with Engineering, Safety, and Quality teams. Ensure each team sets meaningful rocks and remains actively engaged in achieving them.
• Continuous Learning & Development: Actively support Fast Academy, PIT Crews, and the R&D Lab. Encourage each Product Engineer to participate in one to two Fast Academy classes annually.
• Performance & Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through scorecards and measurable objectives. Maintain documentation of professional accomplishments and development as part of the progressive review process.
• Workplace Organization: Uphold 5S standards to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Culture & Values: Consistently demonstrate the companys Core Values in leadership, collaboration, and daily operations.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in Engineering and Quality Systems
• 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 5 years (10 years preferred) of leadership and supervisory experience
• Bachelors degree in engineering required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in gaging and metrology
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word) and ERP systems
• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data analysis and statistical methods
• Proficient in blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience With Cutting Tool Applications Preferred
• Background in Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies

Equipment Used:

• Desktop/laptop computer, cell phone, various gages.

Working Conditions:

• Office and meetings 50%, Shop 40%, travel 5-10%.
