In this role, you will help shape how Generative AI transforms modern marketing technology at scale, building intelligent systems that directly impact how organizations grow and engage with their customers. You will operate at the intersection of AI research, software engineering, and product strategy, turning complex business challenges into scalable, production-ready AI solutions. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will design and deploy advanced AI architectures, including LLM-based systems, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and multi-agent workflows. This is a highly technical yet business-facing role where you will influence both system design and strategic direction. You will also contribute to backend development, cloud architecture, and API design while helping evaluate and prioritize AI initiatives based on impact and feasibility. Operating in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, you will play a key role in advancing the adoption of AI across marketing and customer experience systems.
- Design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-based AI systems and architectures for marketing-focused applications
- Lead the development lifecycle of Generative AI solutions from research and prototyping to production deployment
- Translate business and marketing requirements into testable, scalable AI-driven solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, retrieval systems (RAG), vector databases, and multi-agent AI workflows
- Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python, Java, or Node.js
- Own end-to-end solution architecture including design, testing, deployment, and operational support
- Evaluate AI initiatives based on technical feasibility, scalability, and business value
- Communicate technical concepts and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences
- Document system designs, workflows, and engineering best practices to ensure long-term maintainability
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the adoption of emerging AI tools and frameworks
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent hands-on development background
- 2+ years of experience applying Generative AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, or multi-agent systems) in production environments
- Strong experience building scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with marketing technology ecosystems such as CRMs, CDPs, workflow automation tools, or data platforms
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with testing strategies including unit testing and end-to-end testing
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
- Nice to have: experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain or OpenAI APIs, mentoring engineers, Java development, or marketing automation platforms like HubSpot
