Job Description
UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER – Eastvale
Pay Rate: $17.50 – $19.00 per hour (DOE)
Position Type: Full-Time -
This is a uniformed, unarmed security officer position that may work independently or as part of a team. Officers are expected to maintain a strong, visible presence while ensuring the safety and security of persons, property, and facilities. Officers must have at least 2 years of security officer experience on a construction site.
No weapons will be carried for this position.
Shift: Swings / Graveyard
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Key Responsibilities- Provide protection and security of persons, property, and buildings
- Conduct foot and golf cart patrols using Detex / QR patrol systems
- Report activity while conducting patrols of the complex via 2-way radio or company-issued phone to ISMG Dispatch (CAD tracking)
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity
- Respond to incidents and calls for service in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize de-escalation techniques when handling confrontational or escalated individuals
- Handle routine and emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Operate mobile reporting and guard tour software systems
- Perform foot patrols and access control duties as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Climbing stairs, bending, and occasional driving
- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies
- Valid California Guard Card (Required)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work swing and graveyard shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to speak Spanish (preferred)
- Ability to handle routine and emergency situations professionally
- Ability to understand and execute post orders, including the enforcement of client and company policies
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

- Valid California Guard Card is required before employment begins
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid California Driver's License
- Comes to work, is on time, and completes shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned) to maintain an excellent attendance and punctuality standard.

- Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
